At the beginning of any personal training program, why may experience weight drop of up to 4/5kg, some may not see a decrease in weight, some may even gain weight?
Why the differences?
There are many other factors that may explain the differences such as:
Doctors won’t make you healthy. Nutritionists won’t make you slim. Teachers won’t make you smart. Gurus won’t make you calm. Mentors won’t make you rich. Trainers won’t make you fit. Ultimately, you have to take responsibility. Save yourself.
However, life is not just about sunshines and rainbows. YOU, who are wearing many hats, have a host of commitments besides taking care of yourself. Our role as coaches is to simply seek your understanding that you will do your best, and use this as a starting platform for what is to come next.
All, if not most, will feel a gain in strength, stamina and movement efficiency. You may even feel your arms / abdominal / legs muscles ”tightening” due to the effect of exercises.
Mindset wise, you may be surprise to learn that changing your body is not simply about discipline. It is a form of art where you master one habit, and take control of your psychology.
At the end of the day, know that as you start take responsibility to take care of yourself, we as your coaches will be here to walk alongside you in this journey and beyond.
